Zimbabwe

Travel health in Zimbabwe involves taking several important precautions. Ensure routine vaccinations like MMR and DTP are up-to-date. Hepatitis A and typhoid vaccines are recommended, especially for those visiting rural areas or eating street food. Malaria is prevalent in many regions, so take antimalarial medication, use insect repellent, and sleep under mosquito nets. Tap water is generally unsafe to drink; opt for bottled or treated water instead. Be cautious with food to avoid gastrointestinal issues. Protect against mosquito-borne diseases like dengue by wearing long sleeves and using repellent. Comprehensive travel insurance and consulting a healthcare provider before traveling are essential for a safe and healthy trip to Zimbabwe.
